New! Simplified Question Editor to Write Your Own Questions

It’s here! Now, you can write your own questions in Derivita using our Simplified Question Editor. Create questions right within Assignment Assembly and add your questions to any Derivita assignment. The questions you write will be auto-graded and you can even include a worked solution. We’ve made it super simple to convert typed expressions into math, all it takes is a click of a button and your questions will be nicely typeset for you.

You can also embed images, links, and YouTube videos to both the question prompt and the worked solution of your questions. You can also choose the answer type to be: an expression, an interval, a list, a matrix, odds, or a math essay/free response. Learn more about our Simplified Editor here.

You can also check the correct answer and what will be accepted using the "CHECK" button. After selecting the input type and adding the correct answer to the Answer Prompt, type in a response in the Question Prompt and click "CHECK". You will see what feedback will be provided to your students and whether the response will be marked as correct or incorrect.
