February 10, 2021

What's new in Derivita? Check out the latest updates we've released so far in 2021!

Thanks to user feedback, the Derivita team has been busy developing a host of new capabilities and we are thrilled to share just a few of the updates we’ve released so far in 2021 (with many more to come!)

Assignment Assembly Now Available For Canvas, Blackboard, and D2L Brightspace

Build your Derivita assignments on-the-fly without ever leaving your LMS course. If you do not have Assignment Assembly enabled in your LMS, contact us today and we’ll get you up and running right away.

More Detailed Student Data

With every Derivita homework assignment, quiz, or exam, you can now view more detailed student data from the Educator Dashboard including: attempts, time spent, and scores along with the student’s answers for each attempt.

Quickly Switch Between Students

You can now easily switch between students within any Derivita homework assignment, quiz, or exam using the new Student Switcher. The best part? If you want to review all of the student submissions for a specific question, simply open the question and then use the Student Switcher to quickly view each student’s response. You can even apply partial credit with a single click of your mouse.

New Exam Review Settings

Based on user feedback, we have added several new options to Derivita’s Exam Mode. Following any exam, you can toggle on Question Review to allow students who have finished the exam to see the question prompts and their responses. You can also toggle on Show Solutions to allow students to view their correct/incorrect responses along with the complete worked solution.

A big thanks to our users for all of their suggestions, questions, and feedback.  Keep them coming and we will continue to develop the features and tools that are most helpful to instructors and students! Ready to learn more about Derivita? Click the button below to schedule a demo today!
