In this interactive session, participants will actively engage in both curricular and non-curricular mathematical tasks while experiencing key Building Thinking Classrooms cross-cutting strategies in action. Attendees will collaborate, problem-solve, and reflect as they leverage the Derivita platform to capture in-the-moment data on student thinking and success. Participants will also explore how Derivita supports purposeful differentiation through mild, medium, and spicy practice that extends learning beyond the initial task. Supporting Without Saving: Scaffolding Productive Struggle with Derivita
